Private, non-profit schools interested in learning more about federally funded programs and services provided by Comal ISD are invited to attend an information and consultation meeting Thursday, June 2, 2022, at 9:00am. The meeting will take place in the Curriculum and Instructional Design Conference Room.

Federal program services available to eligible private school students, parents/guardians and teachers are:
Individuals with Disabilities Education Act, Part B (IDEA-B); IDEA-B Preschool Program; Title I, Part A, Improving the Academic Achievement of the Disadvantaged; Title I, Part C, Migrant Education Program; Title II, Part A, Teacher and Principal Training and Recruiting Fund; and Title III, English Language Acquisition, Language Enhancement & Academic Achievement Act.

Private, non-profit schools that elect to receive services must comply with all requisite federal policies and procedures. All services are coordinated through Local Education Agencies (LEAs).
