The Comal Independent School District is welcoming a new theatre director at Canyon High School. Ms. Carter Ridge will join the CHS faculty this coming school year.
Parents, students and community members are invited to a meet-and-greet for Ridge at 5:30 p.m. Monday, June 3, in the Performing Arts Center of CHS.
Ridge comes to CHS from Magnolia High School where served as the theatre teacher since 2016. Prior to that position, she was the theatre teacher at Church Hill Middle School from 2014-2016. While at Magnolia, she directed three UIL One-Act plays and six season productions. She has a bachelor’s degree in theatre education from Texas A&M – Corpus Christi.
