Annually, graduating seniors and parents in the Comal Independent School District look forward to their Senior Awards Night when they are honored for academic merit, community service, excellence and perseverance in the classroom and scholarships. This year, those annual awards continued with virtual videos designed for each of Comal ISD’s high school campuses.
Collectively, the Comal ISD Class of 2020 was offered approximately $22.8 million in scholarships from local and national organizations, colleges, trade schools, and everything in between. That adds up to a lot to celebrate, and counselors believe that number will continue to grow as several organizations are still finalizing their donations.
A total of 613 seniors from the four campuses were honored for their achievements along with a few special recognitions chosen by each campus.
