The PSAT/NMSQT (National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test) for sophomores and juniors is scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 13. The PSAT 8/9 for eighth and ninth graders is set for Thursday, Nov. 4.
Currently enrolled Comal ISD students will be taking the tests on these dates and do not need to register.
Homeschool students who reside in Comal ISD may participate in the PSAT/NMSQT and the PSAT 8/9 on scheduled testing dates at their home campuses. The school district will proctor tests at participating middle and high school campuses.
Please visit the College Board website for more detailed information about the tests. Students are encouraged to bring their calculator if they have one.
Homeschool students must provide a proof of address and present a form of identification listed below. Homeschool students may leave the campus immediately after completing the test.
Examples of Acceptable ID include:
- A valid Government-issued driver’s license or non-driver ID card
- A student ID card from current school
- A government-issued passport
- A government-issued military or national ID card
ID must be an original, physical document (not photocopied).
Examples of Unacceptable ID:
- Birth certificate
- Social Security card
- Employee ID card
- Any temporary ID card
- Credit or debit card with a photo
- An electronic document or ID presented on a device
