June 18, 2024 - In the final signing day ceremonies of the school year, 11 student athletes from four of Comal ISD’s high school campuses including Davenport, Memorial Early College, Pieper and Smithson Valley signed National Letters of Intent to play the sport of their choice at the collegiate level.
These final ceremonies include signings for sports which are not recognized by UIL such as lacrosse and esports. Surrounded by family, teammates, coaches and friends, these athletes celebrated this milestone with balloons, hugs, handshakes and lots of photos. This day represents a culmination of years of early morning and late-night practices, lessons, wins and losses.
