Comal ISD Offers Clinics for High School Student Immunizations March 12

February 12, 2025 - Comal ISD is hosting four clinics for high school student immunizations on Wednesday, March 12. Students interested in participating in these clinics may register here. Walk-ins will be accepted.

Clinic times and locations on Wednesday, March 12

  • 8:55-10 a.m. at Pieper High School, 1400 Kinder Parkway, San Antonio
  • 10:45 a.m.-12:15 p.m. at Smithson Valley High School, 14001 Hwy. 46, Spring Branch
  • 1-2:30 p.m. at Canyon Lake High School, 8555 FM 32, Fischer
  • 3:15-4:45 p.m. at Canyon High School, 1510 IH 35, New Braunfels

The student immunization clinics are open to high school students. All insurance policies including Medicaid will be verified. The out-of-pocket cost will be $10 per shot for those 18 and under. Anyone 19 and older will be charged adult prices which will vardy depending on the vaccine. When completing the registration information, write “NA” for all insurance questions if the family does not have health insurance.

Information of Seniors

  • MCV4 (meningitis) – required for colleges. All entering students at an institution of higher education are required to show proof of an initial meningococcal vaccination or a booster dose during the five-year period prior to enrolling. They must get the vaccine at least 10 days before the semester begins.
  • Men B, a 2 shot series for a fifth strain of meningitis that is usually optional, but students should check requirements for specific college guidelines.
