Student Leadership

The S2S (Student 2 Student) program was established in 2004 to support new students (both military and non-military) who have recently moved and are transitioning to their new campus.  Through S2S, students' welcome new peers arriving and or departing from their campus with that sometimes-difficult transition. The program provides opportunities for character growth, leadership training, educational adjustments, community outreach, as well as enhances school culture, acceptance, supports academic excellence, and enhances relationships, and connections. S2S students set up campus tours, schedule lunch times to sit with and get to know new students, and offer a student made brochure or welcome bag.

The Emerging Leaders Series provides students the opportunity to attain life skills through creative environments and focused learning experiences that help identify and foster growth of individual inner leadership capabilities and open eyes to civic responsibilities. Four seminars assist students in reaching untapped talents beyond the traditional high school approach of classroom learning.

 

Emerging Leaders learn through experiences outside of the classroom and cover the following topics: financial literacy, CCM opportunities, dining etiquette, corporate staffing and hiring process, resume building, personality traits, and character development.
