Unleash your inner thespian with Comal ISD’s Theatre Department. Whether you are interested in starring in a musical, or more interested in operating behind the scenes, Comal ISD’s theatre program has a spotlight for you. Building community through teamwork and friendship, theatre can become a great outlet for creativity and empowerment, allowing for imagination to become reality.

The theatre department at Comal ISD provides students in our elementary schools to explore theatre through a core teacher, developing storytelling, imagination, and self-esteem. In the secondary schools, we provide a venue for performance, beginning with the text and developing it through concepts and theatrical conventions into a fully unified theatrical production. Courses offered at the high school include acting, musical, technical, and media communication.
