The Canyon Lake High School theater department has done it again. This year's one-act play is state-bound following in the footsteps of last year's history-making show. The 24-member company will perform Thursday, May 4, as one of only eight productions vying for the state title in the 4A UIL contest.

Three levels of scholarships were awarded during Comal ISD's All-District Dance Showcase, totaling $4,750. Both high school and middle school dance teams performed competition pieces with a finale dance performed by All-District dancers from each high school.
