The district's second high school of choice opened its doors this year with an excited group of freshman students ready to create memories and establish traditions.

Student enrollment for the upcoming school year, 2020-21, is here. Parents will receive an email with instructions on how to log into their new Skyward account. Returning students may start the enrollment process on Tuesday, July 21. Students who are new to the district will enroll beginning Tuesday, July 28.

In order to gain four extra surplus days and move to a three-tier transportation system, Comal ISD is adding 10 minutes to the school day.

A recent Comal ISD graduate has been honored for his "can-do" attitude and perseverance with a $2,500 grant.

The American Legion Program gives teachers and staff the opportunity to recognize students who exemplify the six qualities that define character. The honor is not only given to graduating seniors and eighth graders. It is also given to graduating fifth graders.

Two student anglers and members of the Comal ISD Bass Fishing Club are heading to the Hill Country Division: Lake Belton State Tournament July 25. They are currently tied for second place in the state - pretty impressive for the program's first year.

During a virtual meeting on Monday, June 29, the 15-member Texas School Safety Center Board of Directors elected Comal ISD Superintendent Andrew Kim as its chair. Kim has served on the board since 2017.
